As far as I can tell, the book "Wizard's First Rule" is based around a character known as Richard Cypher and is the first in a series. This is the first book of Terry Goodkind's that I'm going to read. So far I have no opinion on the author nor the book itself, though I have heard many good things about both. My cousin suggested this read to me and from his discription, it seems like this book might be right up my alley of interests. Only time can tell.

I just love the out of reality story types, and there is a Character named Richard who was thrust into this world but he quickly takes up the responsibility well.
